IAAC informs the launch of Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated

The Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC)

informs its members and interested parties that, as of 1 January 2026, Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated will be officially launched. This new global organization is the result of the institutional integration of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).

This integration aims to strengthen harmonization, consistency, and international recognition of accreditation worldwide, consolidating a more robust and coordinated global framework.

Until the trademark registration process is completed, expected in April 2026, the official acronym and logo of the organization have not yet been released. During this transitional period, stakeholders are requested to use the full name of the organization in all official communications.
