he Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC) took part in the IAF/ILAC/CASCO Workshop “Carbon Adjustment Mechanism: How the Conformity Assessment Ecosystem Can Support the Regulatory Initiatives in This Area”, held in Bangkok, Thailand — a key space to analyze how the quality infrastructure can contribute to achieving global sustainability and environmental regulation goals.
The workshop was led by Cristina Draghici, Director of ISO/CASCO, and @Ann Howard from ANAB, who guided a high-level technical dialogue on the role of accreditation, certification, and inspection in supporting carbon adjustment mechanisms and climate policies.
IAAC is proud of the participation of Ann Howard, who represented the Americas region in this global discussion, reaffirming IAAC’s commitment to sustainability, international cooperation, and the strengthening of the conformity assessment ecosystem.
