IAAC presents QICA’s work to IAF and ILAC members

During the IAF/ILAC General Assembly held in Bangkok, Thailand, Andrea Melo, Chair of the Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC), presented to IAF and ILAC members the important work carried out by QICA (Quality Infrastructure Council of the Americas) to strengthen the quality infrastructure across the Americas and the Caribbean.

QICA is a regional network that brings together the main organizations in accreditation, standardization, and metrology, along with COPANT, SIM, and IAAC, promoting cooperation and the development of a robust and coordinated quality infrastructure throughout the region.

This presentation reaffirmed IAAC’s commitment to regional collaboration and the consolidation of a strong, sustainable quality infrastructure in the Americas.
