CLSAB of Canada - New IAAC Associate member
On May 26, 2022, the IAAC General Assembly approved, via electronic vote, the associate membership application of Canadian Lumber Standards Accreditation Board (CLSAB). CLSAB is an accreditation body based in Canada, for more information see their website at https://www.clsab.ca/
The Canadian Lumber Standards Accreditation Board (CLSAB) is a federally registered non-profit organization responsible for ensuring that “Canadian Standard Lumber” is accurately graded and identified in accordance with CSA-O141 Softwood Lumber as required by the National Building Code of Canada. In addition, the CLSAB provides oversight in the delivery of specific Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Forestry Directives. One of CLSAB's main roles it to accredit and supervise lumber grading agencies.
